Ube Chiffon

Ube chiffon cakes and sponge cakes in Filipino cuisine, but with the addition of mashed purple yam to the ingredients. It is typically made with flour, eggs, sugar, a dash of salt, baking powder, vanilla, oil, milk, and cream of tartar.
